Since its been asked

The box will be mailed to Chelsea this week. I got one last card yesterday so I wanted to wait to make sure there were no more coming. I dont want anyone to miss out. Tomorrow I will have all the letters sent to the email printed on nice paper and bound. Put everything in the shipping box and mail it off to her. After all she has been through lately I (as I am sure all of you) can not wait to see her reaction! Thank you everyone so much for putting your time and effort into this special project for Chelsea. It turned out amazing and I am sure all the letters will bring tears to her eyes! Thanks again ladies!

Really the last call

Ok ladies this is really the last call for pics. I have unpacked my scrapping stuff so I am ready to finish this. I will do one last picture printing on Monday or Tuesday so please pm me for the uploading directions.

I cannot send pm's right now so everyone will have to contact me first.

Also we need your letters for Chelsea and cards for Travis. You can either email your letter to 4chelseantravis@gmail.com or you can handwrite it and mail it. Please pm me for the address to send your cards, gifts and handwritten letters to. The deadline for the project is coming soon so please start sending your stuff.

What I am going to ask each of you to do is to load your picture on to WalMart.com in the Photo area. I have found that copying and pasting from my laptop causes pixelation problems. Email me to get the email address and password to login. When you pm me to ask, that is how I will know that I am waiting for a picture from you. I will send out one more reminder in one week and then that will be it. No more reminders after that. So please, please, please get me those pictures. I know this will mean so much to Chelsea and Travis!!!

And you can include the other siblings if you want. Just upload a pic of them too and they will be included!! Just like Payton!

Updates and Deadline Information

It is time to get this show on the road ladies!! Travis’ birthday is almost upon us so we need to get with it!
Here are some updates!

I (Sarah) have offered to scrapbook all of the pictures of the babies in birthday gear. So to do that, I need all of the babies pics sent to me by May 1st. Also, if you want to donate any birthday themed scrapbook stuff, that would be appreciated as well. PM me for my address!

Then in May, we will move on to letters to Chelsea. Then in June, it will be cards for Travis

Lyndsey is going to compile everything and ship it. She will probably ship it so that the package gets there the 2nd week of July. We realize that his birthday is July 29th but Kyle is coming home about that time so she needs to do it before then. And that way, she can have the stuff to open on his birthday. That also gives you all a window of time to ship any bday gifts you may have to Chelsea instead of them having to be shipped twice. So that would give you 2 weeks to do that after she gets the package. Also, it will catch her off guard because she may be thinking we may do something on his birthday but wouldn’t expect it a couple of weeks before

Also, we needed to come up with a signal or plan so that each time we update the blog, we don’t have to send out so many pm’s. It is time consuming and not very efficient. So here is the plan- When there is an update on the blog, I (Sarah) will ask a question on the board about birthdays. Something like “Have you thought of your baby’s birthday theme?” or “What flavor of birthday cake is your favorite?” When you see ME ask a question about birthdays (because I am the birthday girl- LOL), know that you need to check this blog!!

We also need to know who all is participating so we know whether to bug you when deadlines draw near. So please reply to our pm and let us know that you are participating!! The deadline to sign up is May 1st the same day the pictures are due to Sarah!

Here we go!!

Ok Ladies here is what we were thinking:

1. Letters for Chelsea- We know that we always say such great, encouraging things to Travis. However, we are just as amazed by Chelsea’s strength and determination. So we thought it would be nice for everyone to write a letter to Chelsea letting her know what she and Travis mean to you.

2. Cards for Travis- Birthday cards for the birthday boy!!

3. Pictures- we thought it would be cute for each mommy to take a picture of your baby in a party hat or with balloons so that Travis can see that his PR buddies are partying with him!

Gifts will be optional.

Or you can mail letters, cards, pictures and optional gifts to Lyndsey (address will be posted soon!)
We want to compile them all. Lyndsey will take the letters and have them bound at Kinkos. Everything else will be put all in one box so it will all get there at once!

Lets Celebrate Travis's 1st Birthday

Ladies we all were their for Chelsea, Joe and Travis when Travis entered this world at 23 weeks. We were all praying he would pull through every obstacle. We cried when he got sick and we cried when he did something wonderful. We all cried and felt such anticipation when Travis went home. Now its time to celebrate this little miracle's first birthday! We are thinking about writing him a letter and having it bound in a book for Chelsea and Joe. Sarah and I were also thinking about sending him birthday cards and anything else you would like to send them. This is time in the works. But we both believe as I am sure you will to that Travis's 1st birthday is nothing short of a miracle.
